The subtle changes from last year have improved it even further and the garden has matured and shows the care and attention you give to it, even the banana plants. It was sad that you were away and then busy when you returned but completely understandable. We were well looked after in your absence by Francois, he made the effort every day to chat with us and as ever was the perfect host at the restaurant, he was as good as his work and watered the garden every day, even if one night he did it when he came in from work, we laughed about this the next day as the noise was a bit of a shock with the water bouncing off the large leaves. Claire we were wondering if you could keep us informed about the progress of the villas in Koh Samui as both your Dad and Francois have shared information with us about them and we are genuinely interested in the availability, depending on us being able to match some flights around my work commitments. Thanks for you kind thoughts about Peter, he has indeed left home for uni last weekend so this was a difficult time for us as you will be able to imagine, but he seems to be settling well so heres hoping all continues to go smoothly. Posted by:- The Forbes Fami Date:- 01/08/06 Heading:- One of our best holidays Comments:- From: "Julie Hargreaves" To: "'Claire Gandy'" Date: Tue, 1 Aug 2006 20:16:01 +0100 Hello Claire, Francois and Kaoma, We finally arrived home after a two hour delay and the baggage handlers deciding they had better things to do than put our bags on the carousel so we had to wait for an hour in Manchester. The weather has been great while we have been away, and now we are back it is raining, Dan is currently playing out with a fleece on. We noticed we had left Dan’s hat when we were in the taxi, we would appreciate you sending it on if you could, and our address is : 12 Wythburn Close Burnley Lancashire BB12 8XE I am pleased you were happy with how we left the flat, you were great hosts and you deserved no less. We were delighted with the inside and the outside of the flat, the garden and pool were lovely you obviously put a great deal of time, effort and thought into everything. The meal at the restaurant was really good too, we felt thoroughly spoiled. I came home with news that I had was to have an interview on Monday it did not give me long to prepare for it and I was dreading it. After a thirty minute assessment from an area early years specialist I then had to undergo a one and three quarter hour interview with three people which consisted on me answering what seemed to be hundreds of questions. It was awful. I didn’t realise the interview was for N.A.S.A. However I got the job…. Yippee. I start on Monday, so back down to earth with a bang. Stephen will send some photos to your dad, no problem. Hopefully if you are still renting out the flat in two years we would love to return, the holiday is up there in our top three, it felt like such a long holiday and it was so relaxing mainly due to the fact we felt so at home…..
